A new movie filming in Syracuse is looking for specific cars to appear on screen.
A supernatural thriller in association with American High, the Liverpool-based film company, is scheduled to begin production later this month. Producers are asking the Central New York community to help out if they have one or more of the following cars:
- Late 90′s – Early 2000′s Large passenger minivan (ie. Chevy Astro minivan)
- Late 2000′s minivan (ie. Dodge Caravan)
- Late 90′s – Early 2000′s Mid-size SUV w/ a Roof Rack (ie. Toyota 4Runner)
- Late 90′s – Early 2000s Pickup truck (looks like it is used by a contractor)
- 2017 or newer All Black SUV (ie. Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition)
- 2017 or newer All Black Sedan (ie. Chevy Impala, Ford Taurus)

Specific dates and how long the cars will be needed have not been announced, but filming is scheduled to take place in July and August in the Syracuse area. It will be the 15th movie produced by American High in just five years.
A title, cast, and other details have not been announced.
American High, which is headquartered at Syracuse Studios, recently wrapped “Miguel Wants to Fight,” an upcoming teen comedy starring Raul Castillo (“Army of the Dead”), Tyler Dean Flores (“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”), Imani Lewis (“Eighth Grade”), Christian Vunipola (“SOCiAL”) and Suraj Partha (“Ender’s Game,” “Modern Family”). Other American High titles include “Crush,” “Sex Appeal,” “Plan B,” “The Binge,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Looks That Kill,” “The Ultimate Playlist of Noise,” “Holly Slept Over” and “Banana Spit,” along with the upcoming releases “I Love My Dad,” “Sid is Dead,” “Empire Waist” and “The Binge 2: It’s a Wonderful Binge.”
