The release date and start time for the Fortnite PlayStation Cup on January 14th, 2022 has been announced and you could possibly win $1,200.

Epic Games’ battle royale is the biggest video game of all time and it has just added dynamic weather with lightning and tornadoes. This comes with the arrival of Chapter 3 Season 1 which has been amazing so far.

While the game is massively popular on PC and all consoles, there is an upcoming tournament exclusive to Sony players only.

What time does the Fortnite PlayStation Cup start?

The release date and start time for the Fortnite PlayStation Cup is 18:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT on January 14th.

This is for round one of the tournament only. If you finish in the top 100 players and move onto round two, the event will begin again on January 15th at 11:00 GMT until 14:00 GMT.

All of these hours are for the United Kingdom. You can find the North America East and West start times by proceeding to the tournament in the compete tab.

How to register for the Fortnite PlayStation Cup

You need an account level of at least 50 and two-factor authentication enabled to register for the Fortnite PlayStation Cup in January 2022.

Provided you meet both of these conditions, you will be able to freely compete in round one for your server. Unfortunately, only the top 100 players in each region will proceed to round two.

Round one is comprised of ten matches for you to earn as many points as possible within three hours. Round two is is six matches where players from anywhere in the top 100 will receive a prize.
