H&M clothes play a major role in the contents of my wardrobe, not least for my trying to be more environmentally aware and the brand’s ‘conscious choice’ range giving me a helping hand, but also for its expensive looking pieces that are actually quite affordable.
More often than not if you ask me where something I’m wearing is from I’ll answer “H&M”, and that’s purely for its wide range of items – be it a trend-driven pair of trousers or basics like knitwear, blazers and tracksuits.
If your aims for the year are the same as mine (to hone in on owning a capsule wardrobe full of great quality items), then let H&M guide you. You’ll be surprised at some of the absolute gems you’ll find and the sorts of fabrics you’ll come across. Cashmere for less than a hundred quid? Yes please.
When office outfits became the topic of everyone’s concern, H&M was my first port of call. This relaxed, single-breasted jacket worn with this merino wool polo-neck top and these imitation leather trousers? Effortless. H&M has a huge collection of jumpers, dresses, jeans and coats – which, let’s be honest, are staples of all our wardrobes right now – along with boots and trainers to pair them all with. Whatever the occasion, H&M will have what you’re looking for.
In need of a new work bag? H&M. Want a wedding guest dress that isn’t going to break the bank but that you can wear more than once? H&M. Seeking a snuggly pyjama set that feels like it cost way more than it actually did? You guessed it.
Renowned for its groundbreaking collaborations that started way back in 2004 (yes, I’m talking about the Karl Lagerfeld collection) and remain total crowd pleasers to this day (cough, Simone Rocha, cough, Sabyasachi), H&M fashion is iconic in its own right. Don’t let me tell you, though, scroll down to find just some of what the brand has to offer and see for yourself. P.S. Don’t forget to save some ££ when you shop with these H&M discount codes.
