Samsung India is on a launch spree. After launching several A-series devices in the Indian market, the Korean technology giant is now all set to launch a new M-series device in the country. The company has now announced that the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G will launch in the Indian market on April 22. For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G made its global debut earlier this month.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes with the same design language as the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. Samsung Galaxy M53 5G: Specifications and Features
The latest M-series handset offers 120Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It is a 6.7-inch display with a centered punch-hole notch that the company refers to as the Infinity-O Display. Under the hood, the handset packs an octa-core Dimensity 900 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU.
Coming to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G sports a quad-rear camera setup with a 108MP primary shooter. It is also the first M-series device with a 108MP camera setup. Apart from the high-resolution sensor, the handset also packs an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Samsung has equipped the M53 5G with a 32MP snapper for video calls and selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G packs a 5000mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging over the Type-C port. However, the company may not bundle the charging brick in the retail box like other mid-range Galaxy devices. Galaxy M53 5G comes with OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12.
