- Friends and family will say goodbye to Curtis Wayne Tant of Lineville this afternoon. Tant, who was born in Cobb County and graduated from Paulding County High School, loved working on vehicles and was a mechanic for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and two stepsons and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will take place at 2:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. (Randolph Leader)

- Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative was presented with a sustainability award for its electric vehicle implementation. The Energy Matters Award was presented by Public Service Commissioner and Vice Chair Tim Echols.
