Two programs in the dominant Big Ten Conference meet on the map, with both looking to move their way up the conference standings and the national rankings, as the Michigan Wolverines head to the Great Plains to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The Wolverines are trying to get back to where they were prior to their one-sided loss at the hands of #1 Penn State two weeks ago. They have bounced back admirably though, winning each of their last three contests, including a 40-2 hammering of the Maryland Teripans last Sunday. They still sit fourth in the Big Ten with a 4-1 record, trailing Penn State, Iowa and Wisconsin. Michigan comes into Friday night 4-1 against ranked opponents.

After dropping their first two conference matchups with ranked opponents in Purdue and Minnesota, the Cornhuskers are looking back to their pre-conference form with a couple of notable wins. They first knocked off the then no. 7-Badgers back on Jan. 21, followed up by a win over no. 21 Northwestern, with both matches coming on the road. With those wins, Nebraska is now 3-2 against ranked competition.
