iOS 16 is just a few months away from being announced by Apple at the WWDC 2022 keynote. While last year’s operating system focused heavily on FaceTime, Apple Maps, and Weather, which stock iPhone app do you want to see Apple upgrade to the most?
let’s start with messages, People love iMessage, but it definitely has a lot to improve. It is still very difficult to return to the old conversation. Its thread function is also a bit messy – and Apple just forgot about the effects.
Not only that, but the iMessage App Store has been largely forgotten. For iOS 16, in particular, I really hope Apple makes messaging on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord more enjoyable, borrowing features. You can also read about some other ways Apple can improve iMessage here.
Apple Music There is another app that needs improvement. Although Apple won’t be rolling out a complete redesign for this on iOS 16, the company could improve on a few key features. It’s still awkward to search for lyrics and lyrics if you make a mistake. Gapless playback is another function that 9to5MacK Chance Miller recently wrote. Also, don’t even get me started on the replay playlist.
Personally, I think Apple should focus more on the social part of Apple Music – because Spotify keeps making a killing in this segment. Please, just make listening to songs together more enjoyable – and I’m not just talking about the SharePlay feature that most of our readers don’t use.
In these years, camera The app has become more complex. With the latest features available on the iPhone 13 Pro, users really need to be a “pro” to understand how they can take full advantage of their cameras.
With iOS 16, I expect Apple to make it easier for users to enjoy the Camera app as most third-party apps already offer a ton of customization for professional users.

Speaking of apps that need a little love, what about those? Match Application? So many developers are coming up with such interesting ideas for sending and receiving email, and Apple is still struggling a lot. The last time I got excited — for no reason at all — was with the Hide My Email feature. What about a better spam filter, huh, and maybe even the ability to lock down apps with Face ID?
Last but not least, I think photos The app still needs more love with iOS 16. Apple really enjoyed the way it brought up Memories with iOS 14, but it could have used a few new tricks: recognize more objects, people, animals, and more.
Apple desperately needs to introduce a better Hide My Photos folder, the way it works today is downright annoying. Also, imagine if the company helped the users by erasing the duplicate images!

Of course, these are just five of the many stock apps available on the iPhone. For iOS 16, which one do you think Apple should be paying the most attention to? Vote in the poll and share your thoughts in the comment section below.
