Apex Legends Season 14 will bring a plethora of changes to the game. As well as new content, the update will also bring buffs and nerfs, so let’s get into what players can expect.
Apex Legends Season 14 is bringing exciting new content to the game, including Vantage, an overhaul to Kings Canyon, and the new Laser Sight attachment.
While some may be disappointed to hear that Season 14 will not be bringing a new weapon, there are a variety of changes coming to the game to spice up the meta for both Legends and weapons.
As well as a change to the Care Package guns, the devs are also bringing buffs and nerfs to existing content. With that said, let’s get into the details for all of the buffs and nerfs coming to weapons and Legends in Season 14.
Apex Legends Legend buffs and nerfs
Currently, there is no official news regarding buffs and nerfs for Legends in Season 14. However, as soon as the patch notes are available for the new season, we will update this section with all of the relevant information so stay tuned.
Respawn have previously stated in the past that Season 14 will bring a drastic meta change, so perhaps characters like Valkyrie and Gibraltar will be receiving nerfs, while the low pick rate Legends like Newcastle and Revenant will receive healthy buffs.
We’ll have to wait and see what these changes will look like once the official patch notes are released.
Apex Legends weapon buffs and nerfs
Despite the patch notes not being released, we do have information on some of the weapon changes.
Wingman & Spitfire
Apex Legends Season 14 will bring huge changes to the Wingman and Spitfire, which are both weapons that are considered very strong.
- The Wingman now takes Sniper ammo and attachments
- The Spitfire is now a Light weapon
The EVA-8 will receive a buff in Season 14, after being slightly for the past couple of seasons. The devs have decided to increase the EVA-8’s output through a better fire rate and a buff to the attachments it can use.
- Fire rate increase
- Bolt attachment is more effective at increasing fire rate
- Can now use a Stock attachment
- Double-Tap Hop-Up returns
Bocek Bow & Rampage
The Bocek Bow and Rampage will be in the Care Package for Season 14, which means they will receive buffs to reflect their Mythic rarity.
Volt & G7
This has brought the Volt and G7 back to floor loot, so expect these weapons to be nerfed to their pre-Care Package state.
Wingman, Longbow, & 30-30 Repeater buff
Although this isn’t a direct buff to the weapons, the Skullpiercer Hop-Up is returning in Season 14, which means that the applicable weapons will receive an increase in headshot multiplier if they manage to find the Hop-Up.
This is the first time the Skullpiercer will be available for the 30-30 Repeater, which is already a strong weapon. This could push the 30-30 Repeater over the edge, making this a huge buff for the weapon.
That’s all for the Apex Legends Season 14 buffs and nerfs. For more, check out what the devs had to say about a new Apex Legends gifting system being in the works.
