KALAMAZOO, MI – Police arrested a driver who crashed a car into an occupied business early Thursday, Jan. 13, and attempted to run from the scene.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. at a business on South Westnedge Avenue near Whites Road.
The vehicle went through a wall but no one inside the business hurt, Kalamazoo police said.
The driver, a Kalamazoo resident, fled on foot but was quickly captured by police.
The driver was arrested for an alcohol-related driving offense and fleeing the scene of the crash.
