The popular Atelier series has been entertaining the fans for 25 years, and now it’s back with a new chapter in the story of Sophie Neuenmuller, a young alchemist who aims to make everyone happy. In this adventure, Sophie is looking for her friend and mentor, Plachta. They have been transported to the dream world of Erde Wiege after being absorbed by a strange vortex. Separated from her friend on their arrival, Sophie will have to explore this mysterious world in order to find her friend and continue their quest to make her human once again.
Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream features turn-based battles and plenty of new visual effects and graphics enhancements to deliver the best gameplay experience in the series. The combat system incorporates Dual Trigger skills for the first time, which require two team members to coordinate their attacks for powerful effects.
The puzzles in the synthesis system have been enhanced too. You can now choose between the standard mode and a Restricted Panel that is more challenging to use but yields better items in your alchemy experiments.
