Originally released in early access on October 6, 2020, Baldur’s Gate III from Larian Studios is slated for release in 2022 – though a set Baldur’s Gate III release date has not yet been announced.
Baldur’s Gate III Release Date: 2022
Baldur’s Gate 3 serves as a continuation of one of the most highly regarded role-playing game franchises of all time, which is based on Dungeons & Dragons lore, gameplay and game worlds. The first two games in the series were developed by BioWare (one of the most beloved developers in gaming history). The game is set to release this 2022, although an exact release date has not been revealed yet. An Early Access version of the game has been available since October 6, 2021.
While both games were lauded for their incredible world-building, immersive writing, and fascinating characters, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, released in 2000, is widely revered as one of the best RPGs of all time – and setting the stage for the bigger-budget BioWare titles in years to come.
Baldur’s Gate III is being developed by Larian Studios, known for their incredible work on the Divinity: Original Sin RPGs, which were both released to wide acclaim in the mid-to-late 2010s.
While no release date has been set, this game is expected to be out of early access this year, so keep an eye out for more updates from Larian on social media.
