Another new week in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 has arrived and it’s time to gear up for another set of weekly seasonal quests. More changes will be coming when Update 19.30 takes place in the next few weeks.
Nine more quests have arrived and they seem to follow the same trend across Chapter 3 in that they’re not too difficult!
We’ll never complain about ‘free’ XP though and neither should you! So, here’s when the quests will be live in-game and how to complete all of the Week 9 challenges!

The Fortnite Week 9 Seasonal quests will go live in-game on Thursday, 3 February @ 14:00 GMT / 09:00 EST / 06:00 PST. The upcoming 19.20 update will add some really cool stuff into the game but nothing plays into the Week 9 quests for now!

Fortnite Week 9 Seasonal Quest Guide
The following is a breakdown of each of the Week 9 quests and advice on how to complete them. Where additional information is needed, we’ll specify and update once the quests are live in-game. All quests are worth 25,000 XP.
Deal damage to opponents with the Heavy Shotgun 0/200
The Heavy Shotgunwas recently unvaulted and added back into the active weapon pool. You can find it pretty much anywhere across the island and once you do, deal 200 points of damage to complete this quest.
Reach max shields in different matches 0/3
Another simple quest that’s a little drawn out, you just need to hit 100 shields in three different matches. Most players will prioritise this when they first land anyway so it should come naturally.
Loot supply drops 0/2
Supply drops will start spawning on the map once the second storm circle is revealed. These can be quite popular when they land especially later in matches as players will camp them out for easy kills.
You’ll need to interact with two different drops to complete this quest.
Ignite structures 0/10
Quests that involve igniting structures can be quite glitchy. In most cases, you can build your own structure and use a firefly jar to set it on fire. Sometimes the quest will only count opponent structures and on rare occasions, it will let you set fire to buildings already on the map.
This quest might take a bit of messing around to understand how it works before committing to a method of completion.
Restore health in the Storm 0/1
This is easiest completed in the first storm as it’s the lowest damage circle. Just stand in the storm and use any health item to complete the quest.
Destroy hiding places 0/5
Hiding places are sometimes hard to spot but the easiest to find and destroy are dumpsters. They can be found at multiple POIs around the map. Just make sure it’s an interactable hiding spot before you destroy it or else you’ll waste a lot of time hitting dumpsters for no reason.
Visit different names locations in a single match 0/5
This quest is fairly self-explanatory but could be quite difficult and take a few tries. You will need to visit 5 named locations in a single match, not 5 different POIs, just 5 names locations which are fairly common across the map.
The easiest route to take for this is starting around the Sanctuary as there are a few locations grouped close together and ways to get moving much quicker than just running from point to point.
The following quests are on standby if any of the above quests have issues:
Stoke campfires 0/10
Consume foraged items 0/15
